Greek cascade training of the VRDIGIJUST project

The EPLO has successfully implemented the Greek cascade trainings held in Thessaloniki and Athens on the 11th and 18th of July 2025 within the frame of the VRDIGIJUST project. The main focus of the training program was on whether we really need a digital assistant in justice. Reaching towards an answer, the 2 thematics were built upon the topics of Restorative Justice and Human Rights (Thessaloniki) and European Investigation Order (Athens).

In close cooperation with the National School of Judiciaries in Greece, the training on the 11th of July 2025 took place in Thessaloniki at their premises while the training on the 18th of July 2025 was held at EPLO premises in Plaka. In total 80 participants attended the trainings, gaining theoretical and practical knowledge upon the 2 thematics while also interacting with the Avatars to solve case investigation trials.

More specifically, participants were able to:

  • Deepen their knowledge upon the European Investigations Order & Restorative justice and human rights.
  • Exchange good practices of cooperation and experiences, strengthening & cultivating their in between collaboration, communication channels and trust.
  • Have access to better and more available evidence & to the VR JUDICIAL ACADEMY platform where all the up to date evidence between national and European judicial systems, technologies & European legal tools exist.
  • Provide feedback to the optimization of Avataring learning and teaching approaches
